Design 136 Proposed One Design Class
This design takes us back to 1936. The lead draftsman was Roderick Stephens, Jr. The design was for a proposed class of boats to be called the Nevins One Design for the yard of Henry B. Nevins of City Island, New York. It's interesting that the proportions are virtually identical to the New York 32 Class, designed in the same year.
Both yawl and cutter rigs were offered as were the two different layouts as shown below. We apologize that these scans are of such poor quality; we pulled them from the microfiche files.
