Design 911 Maybe

This pretty yawl is a descendant of design #602, Revonoc. By this I mean that the hull shape, construction plans and so forth from Revonoc were used but a new sail plan was developed. She was built by Henry B. Nevins of City Island, New York and launched in 1950.

She has a fine racing record having participated in 10 Bermuda races, several Halifax races and numerous races on Block Island Sound as well as a trans-Atlantic to Spain in 1957. She also participated in the 1957 Fastnet Race. After her racing career, and renamed White Mist, she enjoyed extensive cruising.

Here are the plans. The sail plan is specific to Maybe while the general arrangement as used (along with lines, etc) is from Revonoc.

LWL 32'-0"
